For storing files and paperwork, the good old-fashioned banker’s box is still the unit of choice for Accounting departments. However, there are a lot of other options that are cheaper while still being very sturdy.

Where you store them does make a difference. Auditors won’t be happy if you give them a stack of soggy, mildew stained files to review. That’s a good reason to purchase storage cabinets or other protective furnishings to house files in rather than leaving them out in the open.
